TaxAct Sponsors Danica Patrick – RacingNation.com

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (Jan. 13, 2015) – TaxACT, the critically-acclaimed leader of affordable tax preparation solutions, has partnered with Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) to sponsor the No. 10 team and driver Danica Patrick in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

TaxACT will serve as the co-primary sponsor with GoDaddy during the Feb. 14 Sprint Unlimited exhibition race at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. For the remainder of Budweiser Speedweeks at Daytona, which includes Daytona 500 Qualifying Feb. 15, the Budweiser Duel Feb. 19 and the 57th Daytona 500 Feb. 22, TaxACT will be seen on the C-post of the No. 10 GoDaddy Chevrolet SS.

And during the heart of tax season, TaxACT will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 10 team and Patrick during the March 27-29 race weekend at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.

“The speed, passion and determination that embodies NASCAR aligns with our approach to business, and when Stewart-Haas Racing brought the opportunity for TaxACT to partner with Danica Patrick, we jumped at it,” said JoAnn Kintzel, president, TaxACT.

Strong activation by TaxACT augments the sponsorship with SHR and Patrick. By going to www.TaxACT.com/Danica for the TaxACT Fast Cars, Fast Refunds Sweepstakes with Danica Patrick, NASCAR fans can register for a chance to win a behind-the-scenes, VIP experience with Patrick and the No. 10 GoDaddy team during the Daytona 500. Secondary prizes include an autographed TaxACT firesuit from Patrick and autographed pieces of sheet metal from the No. 10 Chevrolet, as well as a match of up to $2,500 on an IRS refund or balance due for a TaxACT e-filed return.

“It’s easy and free to enter the sweepstakes,” Kintzel said. “Just go to TaxACT.com/Danica to enter. From there, you can also start your free federal tax return to get your guaranteed maximum refund the fastest way possible.”

The TaxACT Fast Cars, Fast Refunds Sweepstakes with Danica Patrick will end February 8, 2015, with winners to be announced shortly thereafter.

“TaxACT’s sponsorship of our race team will span the height of tax season for most people,” Patrick said. “It’s a great way to promote a terrific product.”

TaxACT, which makes doing your taxes anywhere, anytime, fast, easy and affordable, was formed in 1998. Web savvy, independent and motivated to succeed on their own terms, customers choose TaxACT products and services to save money, empower themselves and, ultimately, get ahead.

“I always give credit to my team on the racetrack, but in this case it was off the track where my team shined,” said Patrick, pole winner for the 2013 Daytona 500. “Stewart-Haas Racing approached TaxACT after cross-referencing the company and its culture with NASCAR fans. It was an ideal fit.
