GLENDORA, Calif. (Feb. 27, 2008) – NHRA has announced the JEGS ProMod Challenge exhibitions will compete at 10 NHRA national events in 2008, beginning
March 13-16 at the 39th annual ACDelco NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Fla.
“The Pro Mods have shown over the last eight years to be an entertaining compliment to the national event,” said Gary Darcy, senior vice president of sales and marketing, NHRA. “We enjoy working with JEGS Mail Order and the entire Coughlin
family including John, Troy, Mike and Jeg.”
The JEGS ProMod Challenge exhibitions will take place during NHRA POWERade national events in Gainesville, Houston, Atlanta, St. Louis, Bristol, Englishtown,
Indianapolis, Dallas, Richmond, and Las Vegas.
Headquartered in Glendora, Calif., NHRA is the primary sanctioning body for the sport of drag racing in the United States. It presents 24 events through its NHRA
POWERade Drag Racing Series. NHRA has 80,000 members and 140 member tracks.
