3/26/2008 It is time for the Martinsville paperclip track where brakes will be the most important thing on a racecar. The flat half mile track with the short tight turns and dragstrip type 800 foot straightaways will put the cars and drivers through and endurance test of 500 laps.

The RacingNation.com Power Rankings tells you who we think will be burning up the track. Feel free to let us know your thoughts, send us an email.

RacingNation.com Power Rankings Kyle Busch Hes still the top dog even with last weeks disappointing finish. The younger Busch remains the guy to beat in any series. Greg Biffle Not so quiet anymore, Biffle is having his best start to a season. This is where we have been expecting him to be in the last couple of years. Dale Earnhardt Jr. Junior continues to lead the charge for Hendrick Motorsports. Maybe he needs to share his notes with the rest of the team. Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson It cant last forever. This weekend could feature a team Hendrick sweep at the top. Matt Kenseth Matt has been pretty solid at Martinsville, expect nothing different this weekend. Carl Edwards I dont think there will be a backflip in Carls immediate future. Kevin Harvick So, Tony and Kevin are all square now, right? Who is next on the list? Jeff Burton With RCR on top of its game, Burton will continue to be a front runner. Denny Hamlin If only there was a way to use all of the fuel in the tank The banking wont be as high as last week so that problem shouldnt crop up again. Tony Stewart He should have won last week. Whats a little bump among friends? Clint Bowyer Nothing like a short track to allow Bowyer to continue his current hot streak. Ryan Newman How about a pole position and a return to early season form? Oh wait, it still is the early season. Bobby Labonte Last year Bobby finished 8th in the Spring race, look for a repeat. Scott Riggs This could be the best track for Riggs to capture a top 15 at the end of the day. Power Rankings from Last Week and Bristol Result Kyle Busch 17th Carl Edwards 16th Greg Biffle 4th Matt Kenseth 10th Tony Stewart 14th Dale Earnhardt Jr. 5th Kevin Harvick 2nd Jeff Burton – 1st Jeff Gordon 11th Jimmie Johnson 18th Denny Hamlin 6th Brian Vickers 39th Kasey Kahne 7th Clint Bowyer 3rd Kurt Busch 12th
