The RacingNation.com Power Rankings tell you who we think is burning up the track heading into the Lowes Motor Speedway. Feel free to let us know your thoughts, send us an email.

RacingNation.com Power Rankings Jeff Gordon Nothing like a win to keep yourself at the top. Jimmie Johnson It’s ok for your friend to beat you right? Even more so when he is your boss! Clint Bowyer Still hangin with the leaders. Bowyer should be fine unless the DEI/RCR engine bugs bite. Tony Stewart Being at the front of the pack for most of the day is great, unless the two guys you are challenging in the points finish ahead of you. Tony needs to throw a party at Jimmy’s house this weekend. Carl Edwards Heading to a cookie cutter track should be good news for Carl. Kurt Busch Another good run and Kurt is back on the charge, it may be too late for the Cup though. Denny Hamlin Nice run, lead the most laps and finished top 5 but… still a long way to go. Kevin Harvick Pretty much a nothing weekend except for watching the leaders pull away. Kyle Busch The attitude of Kyle is ruining his run, imagine that. Planning to wreck at Talladega and just about giving up last week have this team dropping like a rock. Martin Truex Jr. Somebody slipped him one of Junior’s engines Oops, a lot of people got Junior’s engines. Matt Kenseth Another run bites the dust. Time to start thinking about the 2008 Championship run. Jeff Burton The Chase leaders finish one-two and you finish last. That is just not going to help. Ryan Newman Great finish in a roller coaster year means next week’s prediction is the Pole and a DNF. Jacques Villeneuve While the critics piled on, Villeneuve showed an abundance of class and respect for the sport and his competitors. Hmm…Maybe he’s not that bad of a driver either. Michael Waltrip The ‘dega Pole, led 6 laps, a top 25 finish and $88K to help pay NAPA for the races that he’s missed.
